Ecological interest in the area
Natural habitats present: dry heaths (Corine code: 31.2), wet heaths (Corine code: 31.1), peatlands (Corine code: 51), bog asphodel seeps (Narthecium ossifragum) (Corine code: 51.141), acidic low marshes (Corine code: 54.4), Mesotrophic and oligotrophic river vegetation with ranunculus (Corine code: 24.4), oligotrophic humid grasslands (Corine code: 37.3).
For the animals species, there is a presence of the European otter (Lutra lutra) (N2000 code: 1355), the greater horseshoe bat (Rhinolophus ferrumequinum) (N2000 code:1304), for the insects we can highlight the presence of the stag beetle (Lucanus cervus) (N2000 code: 1083), the molluscs are marked by the presence of the Escargot de Quimper (Elona quimperiana) (N2000 code: 1007), and there is a rodent associated with water environments, the southern water vole (Arvicola sapidus).
